We also made mom's recipe of party mix. Christmas is just not Christmas at our house unless you can eat party mix all week. We also wanted to make some sugar cookies for the kids to decorate so we made the Krumkaker recipe but instead of the bracelets we let the kids roll and cut them with Christmas cookie cutters. The kids got to put frosting on them and sprinkles. They made a big mess but had fun. Erin and I also made peanut blossoms (the kind with the chocolate kiss in the middle). The are my favorite cookie.
